Astronomi Genel Tanımı Ve Hakkında Bilgiler
Gökyüzünde bakarak bir çok şeyi merak ederek başlayan ve her geçen gün yeni şeyler öğrenmemizi sağlayan astronomi bilgisi karşımıza çıkmaktadır.
Gök cisimlerinin durumlarını, aradaki mesafesi, hareketlerin oluşmasıyla bunun fizik ve kimya teorileriyle anlatılmaya çalışılan bir bilim dalıdır.
İnsan yaşamında genel olarak araştırmalarında bu gökyüzüne duyulan ilgi ilk çağlara kadar uzandığını kanıtlanmaktadır. Diğer bilim dalları ile karşılaştırdığımızda bu bilim dalı daha önde ve daha hızlı ilerlediğini öne sürmektedir.
O zamanlar bunun adı astronomi olarak bilinmemektedir. Eski yunan zamanında deneylerle ve teorilerle bugünkü bu bilimin temellerini atılmış olmaktadır.
Yapılan araştırmalar Çin de, Yunan da, Araplar ve Türkler de, Avrupa da bu konuyla ilgilenen bir çok bilim adamların olduğu ve bu yüzden çok hızlı ilerleyen bir bilimdir.
Örnek verilmek gerekirse;
Çin’de M.Ö 3000 ve 2000 yılları içerisinde dini törenlerin vakitlerini tespit edebilmek için takvim, ay ve güneş gibi hesaplama yapılan bir heyet kurulmuştur. Yoa, Çu- Kung’un ve Kubilay gibi bir çok Çin’ de bilimle uğraşan önemli kişilerdir. Yapılan çalışmalar günümüzle karşılaştırıldığında yakın hesaplamalar olduğu göze çarpmaktadır.

Bu bilim dalı iki şeklinde ayrılmaktadır. İlk olarak Klasik Bilim diğeri ise Modern Bilim şeklinde olmak üzere ayrılmaktadır.

Modern Bilim de ise; Astrofizik, Yıldızlar Bilim şeklinde yer almaktadır.

Küresel bilim; Gök cisimlerinin görünüm doğrultularını belirlemek için uğraşan bir koludur.
Gök mekaniği; Gök cisimlerinin karşılıklı çekim kuvvetini ve hareketini izleyen inceleyen bir koludur.
Astrofizik; Gökyüzünde bulunan yıldızların kimyasal ve fiziksel yapılarının araştırması ile uğraşan bir koludur.
Yıldızlar bilim; Yıldızlar hakkında bütün her şeyi inceleyen bir bilim dalıdır.
Bu bilim dalının tarihsel zamana bakıldığın da en önce gelişen bir bilim dalıdır. İnsanlar gökyüzüne baktığında oradaki olayları anlayabilme ve bazı durumların tekrar edilmesi ve bunun tahmin yürütmeleri daha sonra yaşadığı evreni keşif ederek bunun matematik, biyoloji, fizik ve kimya gibi bir çok bilim dalının birleşmesiyle bu bilimim gelişmesine ve büyümesine neden olmuştur.
